monday 12/29 - sunday 1/4
The week of New Year's was cold and snowy, just how we wanted it! I don't see myself getting tired of scenes like the ones below out my window anytime soon. Instead of making crazy plans to go out or host a party we decided to just stay and ring in the new year together. It was pretty perfect. We grabbed some delicious king crab to make for dinner, drank some really good wine, and donned fancy hats and "bowties". On New Year's Day we woke up (without hangovers) and headed to our friends place to watch the Rose Bowl. Friday we both worked, and then we spent the weekend wandering around town and enjoying the weather.

my week in pictures 78
monday 11/17 - sunday 11/23
I really hurt my back last week, so I was terrible at taking pictures even though we spent the weekend in Portland, but I did manager to snap a few good ones.
Busy weekend. Lot's of people. Here's the rundown: The snow stuck around for the most of the week, but the pass cleared off just in time for us to head to Portland Friday night for my brothers bday. Unfortunately I completely forgot to take any pictures, so all I have are the photobooth shots me and Guenther took. My bad. On Saturday we met up with Brad, Alia, and their daughter Henley to do some shopping and hang out. She is a cute little bugger! I even held her without being scared (mostly). We also grabbed lunch with my dad. That night went out with Tony, Alex, and Hayden on 23rd for dinner and drinks. Sunday we grabbed lunch with my mom and grandpa before heading to Salem to visit Pats grandma in the hospital after her heart surgery. She, being like the energizer bunny, is back home now.
It was pouring down rain the entire time we were in the valley, so we got to drive through a flooding I-5 when we were heading out. Endless weeks of rain, I do not miss you at all.

monday 11/10 - sunday 11/16
Alright, so I have been slacking on my posting lately... things are just insanely busy around here, so I haven't had as many pictures as I usually do. Therefore I am skipping the first week in November and jumping forward to the next one where there was a lot more going on.
We got our first snow of the season! And it was a pretty decent amount of snow too! We went to bed Wednesday night and woke up to about 12 inches and a steady snowfall throughout the entire day. I love it when it snows over here (as long as I have a driver). Over the weekend we went on lots of walks and played in the snow every chance we got.
Enjoy tons of white washed photos below. :)

my week in pictures 60
monday 7/7 - sunday 7/13
Last week Pat was in Phoenix for work, so I had a few dinner dates after work to keep me occupied during the week. I met Gera at Worthy and then the girls from work for Mexican in Tumalo. While we were enjoying margaritas I met a silly old Frenchie named Bernard who was there with his people which obviously made my obsession for looking at puppy pictures increase once again.
My weekend was pretty packed though I didn't get a ton of pictures... Friday night I picked up Pat from the airport (yay!), Saturday we had to attend a work function which actually ended up being really fun and we closed out the evening playing Catch Phrase with my bosses boss.
Sunday we had some friends over for a BBQ in the afternoon to watch the World Cup finals and then got ready to go to my co-workers Housewarming/Birthday Party. Right as we were about to head out this insane downpour of giant hail started. It was nuts, I had never seen hail that big. Naturally the boys needed to go play in it yelling "ow!" over and over again while I took pictures and videos... The hail also broke a ton of our pretty flowers which was a bummer. But mainly... hail... in July?!
Eventually we made it to the party where we had drinks, a delicious dinner, and watermelon cake. The end.
