nine

I cannot believe that it has been nine, NINE years since me and this boy started dating!! It hardly feels like a single one has gone by because I am still so in love with you, butterflies and all. Seriously. Its pretty awesome. I have loved "growing up" together and sharing so many adventures with you. There is no one else on this planet that I would rather share my life with, and I can't wait to make our next big move. Happy Anniversary babe! Love you!!

Hint, we will be celebrating our ten year anniversary a little bit differently... ;)

my week in pictures 61

monday 7/14 - sunday 7/20

I only have a few pictures from last week, and surprise, surprise, almost all of them involve food or beer. Its not my fault, I am just a product of the town I live in (and Pat is an amazing cook!). We went to The Lot for dinner one night since neither of us could decide what we wanted and gave The Brown Owl food cart a try. Seriously yum. I got a rice bowl essentially, but Pat got a fried chicken sandwich with a fried egg on top and just the chicken alone was amazing. We will certainly be back.

Over the weekend Hayden came in to town with Magdalena (Maggie) from Germany (who speaks better english than many people in the Southern states in my opinion) so we did a lot of brewery hopping. We also made it out for a little sunbathing on Saturday where I attempted to get tan... no dice.

Oh yea, you might be wondering about the Grandfather Clock photo that I snuck in there... I will dedicate a full post to that one of these days. There is definitely a story behind it.

my week in pictures 60

monday 7/7 - sunday 7/13

Last week Pat was in Phoenix for work, so I had a few dinner dates after work to keep me occupied during the week. I met Gera at Worthy and then the girls from work for Mexican in Tumalo. While we were enjoying margaritas I met a silly old Frenchie named Bernard who was there with his people which obviously made my obsession for looking at puppy pictures increase once again.

My weekend was pretty packed though I didn't get a ton of pictures... Friday night I picked up Pat from the airport (yay!), Saturday we had to attend a work function which actually ended up being really fun and we closed out the evening playing Catch Phrase with my bosses boss.

Sunday we had some friends over for a BBQ in the afternoon to watch the World Cup finals and then got ready to go to my co-workers Housewarming/Birthday Party. Right as we were about to head out this insane downpour of giant hail started. It was nuts, I had never seen hail that big. Naturally the boys needed to go play in it yelling "ow!" over and over again while I took pictures and videos... The hail also broke a ton of our pretty flowers which was a bummer. But mainly... hail... in July?!

Eventually we made it to the party where we had drinks, a delicious dinner, and watermelon cake. The end.

my week in pictures 59

tuesday 7/1 - sunday 7/6

All of my pictures from this week take place outside, which is kind of funny, and pretty awesome! We could never spend this much time in our yard in the valley since it was always raining (often enough in the summer too). By the way, when did summer happen all the sudden?!

Last week me and Pat spent a lot more time in the yard planting, watering, bbqing, reading, relaxing. It was pretty damn good. On the fourth we lazed around in the morning before having some friends over for a BBQ and heading down the street with our neighbors to watch the fireworks over Pilot Butte from a nearby park. It was nice to be able to just walk up the street to see them. As promised, Pilot Butte did in fact catch on fire... as it apparently does every single year. But don't worry, unlike my last fire story the trucks were ready and waiting for such an incident this time and promptly responded.

We spent Saturday and Sunday being totally lazy bums, and we absolutely loved and needed it. We laid around on the hammock, read, planted some new plants, and then ended up going out to Brasada Sunday to soak up some sun in the pool. Not too shabby for a weekend at home, and I felt much more refreshed and ready for the week on Monday because of it. Finally!

walla walla :: sneak peak

Here is a little preview of our recent trip to Walla Walla, Washington (with a pit stop in Hood River). I took a TON of pictures, so it might take me a few weeks to get everything sorted and posted, but I should have some good stuff coming your way soon. :)
