Whoa. How is it September already?! I feel like I just noticed that the sun was staying out later, and now that is simply not the case. By the time I get home the backyard is covered in shade, also, there are some leaves starting to fall already around here (NOOOO!). Anyway, enough of that. The summer is indeed fleeting, but I know we have a few really nice days left, like this weekend for example. Tomorrow is the first football game of the year, and since I live in a college town, this is a big deal. Enter tailgating. I actually work at every football game for a little bit of extra cash flow, but I still enjoy being a part of the action and am kinda pumped myself. Plus, my dad is coming down for the game and he has my proposal ring (which has been out getting sized). Kinda missed it.

Time for some polish action. I hope that you get out and enjoy the sunshine this weekend, and remember Monday is Labor Day around here so no work, and no post until Tuesday. Yay for two Saturdays!

Yay Friday! Would anyone argue that is not the best day of the work week? Most productive, maybe not. But people are certainly in better moods on Fridays. Maybe that is why I am in such a great mood right now. I am excited to cook some dinner, drink some wine, and relax. I have a lot of work to get done though, I have work to do on the wedding invitations I am currently working on, and, GASP, I have to do my taxes. I know, I know, I should have done those a LONG time ago! Hopefully I can get some money back to put towards some new furniture, for our mythical new house... that we cannot seem to find. Enjoy your Friday night!

Oh man, this week was intense! Things at work have been progressively getting busier and busier and I feel like today kind of kicked my ass. But, no mind, it is officially the weekend!!! And I have some fun things planned. Oregon State's Pinkout was tonight, but more on that later. Tomorrow me and Pat are taking a trip to IKEA (danger danger), hopefully we/I don't get too carried away. I love that place.

Today work sort of crept up on me and it was not very enjoyable. But now the weekend is about to begin and I am pretty excited to just relax. I literally have nothing planned for once, which means I will probably not know what to do with myself. My goal is to at least work on some sketches for a painting of some sort. I have a ton of ideas, but have not been able to get myself motivated lately, so fingers crossed I can get something together over the next few days.

I am super pumped for this weekend! I can definitely tell I am starting to get back to being myself, because I have been getting more excited about things lately. Which makes me really really happy.

Tonight me and Pat are heading up to Portland for our friend Brad's housewarmimg party at his new place. After being surrounded by 18 year olds all the time, courtesy of Pats little brother, I am really excited to actually hang out with some people in my own age bracket. In fact, there is a great possibility that I will be the youngest person there... thats more like it. The plan for saturday is breakfast at the Screen Door ?! (fingers crossed) and football. Sunday, if I get my way we will FINALLY go to the pumpkin patch. I am voting for the one with the pumpkin cannon, thats right, they shoot pumpkins out of an actual cannon. Awesome. Plus, last year there were bunnies there!

This week was a 'short' one, but I swear it lasted forever... So ready for some weekend adventures! I hope the sunshine holds up!!! (pretty please) I keep saying every weekend that I just need one more to enjoy the summer weather, but it never seems to be enough to help me accept the inevitable fact that it is going to start dumping rain on us for the rest of the year any second... We are meeting up with some of Pats super old friends tomorrow, should be interesting, I have never met any of these people, which is crazy considering how long we have been together, so I have no idea what to expect. I am a little nervous. ...Other than that I hope there is some vodka in my future :) mmm
